Found it on kijji. Another Jeep guy put it together from scraps. Does the job!

Does a TJ soft top fit on a CJ7? Yes, yes it does......

Minor clip of the upper windshield flange.
    Fab 2 little brackets.
    Drill a few small holes.
Tinker with two u-bolts and 6 straps/ brackets.
    4 brass screws and washers.

    That's it.

    Check it out.....

the top looks like it was meant to fit all along. To bad I have a CJ5 and I'm fresh out of TJ soft tops.

If you are okay with a safari top then the same retrofit would work if you trim off the back pillars and ran it without windows.

Only change I would make would be to rigidly fix the rear bow to midspan of the rollbar a-arm so the back of the "safari" top doesn't "lift" at speed.

A few more photos of the fitment. You can see I don't have a family bar. I will be adding a tube and mounts for a removable bar over the doors to go in to support the door surrounds and help keep pressure on the doors to get a better seal.

Padded and leather covered my console for an armrest. I welded up a tall bracket under the console so it would sit much higher and level. Perfect distance from the shifters and allows for two tall cups of Jo. Welded the console in so it can't be ripped out now.

Added a Tuffy rear boot so I can lock up gear and extinguishers.
